Technology in telephony is changing very rapidly.  While these advances help make your phones a better productivity tool, they can also be a little confusing.  Here are a few pointers. 

Flexibility In Design 

Look for a system with Modular Design; system hardware can be changed easily and quickly as technology or your needs change.  This system should automatically adapt to new Area codes and Prefix Numbers. 

Voice Mail Features

·         Users have the ability to utilize a personal voice mailbox from a centralized system.

·         A message light will be activated when a message is left in a mailbox from any extension or an outside call.

 Caller ID 

Ability to identify the name and telephone number of the party calling in, through a LED Readout on the telephone, or with an interface; the computer is also compatible with this feature.

Software Driven
